To not only grow the game, but to grow it right. We break down the fundamentals of the sport so each player can understand why they do what they do and how to do it correctly. Our tournament and developmental teams will give players the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played. We will challenge players with the best competition around to make sure that they are always learning and looking to improve until they are the best they can be.
Each of our coaches have competed at the highest collegiate level and beyond and are ready and willing to share their knowledge on how to succeed and what they did to get there. We want to help you achieve your goals as a dominant young player and prospective collegiate player.
The Snipers Elite teams are comprised of 18 - 22 of the top lacrosse players in Westchester County and beyond, based on their high school graduation year. Players on the Elite teams are ready and committed to taking their game to the next level.
Rising 3rd - 5th Grade - Players will focus on their fundamentals while starting to learn team strategy (beginning of team offense & defense, how to ride, et al). Preparation for town travel lacrosse program tryouts. Tournament play will include both 7v7 and full field tournaments, with the emphasis on lots of playing time and development.
Rising 6th Grade - Players will begin to play in competitive tournaments. Implement team offense & defensive systems. Prepare players for playing in a faster paced environment and prepping for middle school play. Individual player and team feedback.
Rising 7th Grade - Compete in highly visible/competitive tournaments. Continue to build on team strategy and systems. Preparation for modified/JV tryouts. Individual player and team feedback. *Players at this age are also eligible to attend the Sand Storm Tournament, an additional event in Indio, CA (January).
Rising 8th Grade - Competitive tournaments, preparation for modified/JV/V seasons. Begin the team and individual discussions of how the college recruiting process works, and goal setting for JV/Varsity play. Players (and parents) will have email/phone contact with both the coaching staff and Co-Directors to discuss goals of the player.
Rising 9th Grade - High visible, very competitive tournament schedule, so that players start to be seen on the recruiting circuit. Guidance by coaching staff and Co-Directors in the recruiting process, if applicable. Continued meetings and calls with coaching staff for goal setting and individual feedback. Coaching staff will select players to represent the Club at invitational combines and recruiting events.
Rising 10th - 12th Grade - Continued highly visible & competitive recruiting tournament schedule, with the goal of exposing players to college coaches. Players and their families will meet with the staff to discuss college goals, and help facilitate communication between players and college coaches. Hands-on support and direction in each player’s recruiting process, whatever their individual timeline might be.
** Note that players are not permitted to compete on another club/elite team outside of Snipers Elite after entering 8th grade. It is our expectation that players are committing their time, energy and effort to their Snipers team [attending 80% of all Snipers practices/training events, and all tournaments]. Players are welcome to participate in any camps, clinics, or tryout/merit-based teams they should choose to participate or trial for.Back to Top
